What Does This Word Mean? MENTORING is...

All these and more, but mentoring is "just a word" to many leaders. I was listening to Mike Storkey this morning whilst he was on one of his regular mentoring calls to a leader from across the globe. I heard him say "no....what do you think you should do ...you are the leader".

That's what mentors do ... they encourage, support, guide, challenge but above all, allow their protegés, mentees, whatever you wish to call them, the opportunity to find their own solutions. That's how people grow and develop leadership skills.
